About the program

Macquarie's Summer Internship Program offers valuable practical experience working on impactful projects alongside industry experts. Interns receive a structured induction, on-the-job training, and networking opportunities. The program runs December to January for 10-12 weeks, and summer interns are eligible to be fast-tracked for the Graduate Program.

Roles and Responsibilities of a Summer Analyst:

• Complete meaningful project work contributing to real business outcomes

• Present a project to senior management at program end

• Participate in orientation covering Macquarie's business groups and technical training

• Receive mentorship and support from a manager and aligned mentor

• Engage in philanthropic and social events

Required qualifications and skills:

• Strong numerical skills and clear communication; collaborative, with an ability to build working relationships; proactive, resourceful attitude; strong attention to detail and Excel proficiency; genuine interest in financial services

• Graduating December 2027-June 2028 (penultimate year as of 2026)

• All degree backgrounds accepted
